Leather OWB holsters: pancake, belt slide and more

Outside-the-waistband holsters sit on your belt, which makes them comfortable, quick to put on and easy to draw from. Pancake holsters thread onto the belt through two slots and pull the gun close to your body. Belt slide holsters are simple and low profile. Small-of-back holsters carry behind the hip.

Choosing between OWB styles

  • Pancake with thumb break: adds a second layer of retention for open or field carry.
  • Open-end vs closed-end: open-end designs suit guns with longer barrels or threaded barrels; closed-end designs cover the muzzle.
  • With magazine pouch: matching sets keep a spare magazine or speedloader on the same side. See holster and pouch sets.

What is a pancake holster?

A pancake holster is an outside-the-waistband holster with two belt slots that sandwiches your belt, pulling the gun close to your body for a secure carry.

With a cover garment such as a jacket, vest or longer untucked shirt, OWB carry can be concealed. It is also popular for open carry, hunting and range use.

How do I make sure it fits my gun?

Choose the listing that names your exact make and model, and read the fit list in the product description. If your model is not listed, message us before you order and we will tell you whether it will fit.

Are these holsters right-handed or left-handed?

Most listings are right-hand. Some products offer a right or left hand option in the variant selector, so check the product page for your hand.

Do you offer free shipping and returns?

Yes. Shipping is free in the U.S. on orders over $99, and you have 30 days from delivery to return your purchase. Every Kaliber holster is also covered by a lifetime warranty on stitching and hardware.
